Welcome to Horizon Europe WIDERA Newsletter November 2022
Good afternoon everyone,

I hope you are all keeping well.

For the first time in almost three years, the Horizon Europe National Support Network team met face to face in Athlone, Co. Westmeath for our annual gathering of National Contact Points (NCPs), National Delegates and stakeholders. The the two-day event included interactive sessions and discussion with representatives from third level research offices, as well as the Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science and the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. It was great to meet up with everyone.

The WIDERA work programme is scheduled to be published later this month and the European Commission Info Day is  planned to take place on
12th December 2022, please check the Commissions website for updates.

The work programme has calls in areas like developing new approaches to the macroeconomic modelling of R&I, research ethics in environmental and climate technologies and laying the groundwork towards Europe-wide citizen science campaigns, if there is anyone in your networks that maybe interested in these and many other topics, please encourage them to take a look at the ERA part of  "Widening Participation and strengthening the European Research Area" part of the HE work programme.

Many thanks & kind regards
Gráinne
