Back on the road - connecting at events across the country
September marked a busy return to the events circuit for the Horizon Europe National Support Network team. With the EU Presidency now underway, diaries are quickly filling up. Engaging directly with researchers, innovators and stakeholders is a key part of promoting Horizon Europe, and we're looking forward to a packed autumn of networking, collaboration and supporting Ireland's continued success in the programme.

Teagasc Moorepark visit

Enterprise Ireland’s National Contact Points visited Teagasc Moorepark in Cork at the beginning of September to learn more about the centre’s research activities and future plans. It was an opportunity for the team to hear directly from research office colleagues, Ray Kelly, Siobhan Jordan, Maria Egan and Órlaith Ní Choncubhair, who provided an overview of Teagasc Moorepark’s work and strategic priorities.

DisrupTech on Tour

Our Horizon Europe National Contact Points are attending several events on the nationwide roadshow, DisrupTech on Tour, hosted by DETE and Enterprise Ireland to help Irish companies and research organisations access collaborative R&D funding. The tour started on 01 September and is running until 15 October, with their final stop in Dublin. If you're interesting in attending the events please find more information here.

EU R&I Days and Enterprise Ireland networking event

From 10-11 November, policymakers, researchers, innovators, business leaders and representatives of civil society will be coming together for the annual European Research and Innovation Days taking place in Brussels and online - registration is free.

To coincide with this, our EU R&I Liaison Kevin Flynn and the Enterprise Ireland team in Brussels are organising a networking event to bring together Irish and European leaders from the research and innovation community.

The evening will focus on open networking, facilitated by Ireland's National Contact Point (NCP) Network, providing a unique opportunity to engage with key stakeholders from across Europe's research and innovation funding ecosystem. If you would like to join us and attend the networking venue, please contact HorizonSupport@enterprise-ireland.com.
