Horizon Europe - January 2023 update

Hope you got the new year off to a great start! We're looking forward to another busy year for Ireland in Horizon Europe - in the first two years of the programme, Ireland has signed 431 grants which is almost 10% of the Horizon Europe total and stands at €260.5m on the Horizon Dashboard.

The Horizon Europe National Support Network team kicked off the year with our first meeting and network event on Tuesday last. Hosted by our National Contact Point Martha Cahill, we were joined by representatives of the research community who braved the ice and travelled from all around the country to Enterprise Ireland's offices in Dublin.

We were joined by colleagues from the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and Department of Further and Higher Education, Research, Innovation and Science who provided updates and EU Liaison for R&I Gráinne Ryan had all the latest from Brussels. AMBER, RCSI, Teagasc and Connect took us through their thematic areas of interest, collaboration requirements and ambitions. We're already looking forward to our next catch-up in April!

The event is organised by the Enterprise Europe Network and Cluster 4 Space NCPs.
